I contributed to the production of the official music video for The Peach Kings' "Mojo Thunder," a highly stylized, noir-inspired animated project produced by Ataboy Studios (directed by Kris Merc and Benjy Brooke). The piece features a dark, hypnotic aesthetic reminiscent of classic adult comic books and vintage hand-drawn styles, mixing stark black-and-white contrasts with themes of vice and illusion.

The video required an incredibly distinct, angular, and shadow-heavy animation style. Even for short sequences, the animation needed to maintain perfect frame-to-frame weight, volume, and graphic precision. The challenge lay in jumping into existing scenes and flawlessly matching the timing and specialized line quality of the primary keyframes.
-
In-Between Animation: Executed clean, fluid in-between frames for select scenes to bridge key poses and ensure smooth motion transitions.
Style Matching: Strictly adhered to the directors' gritty, high-contrast visual design, utilizing specified digital brushwork to mimic the organic feel of chalk and crayon on black cardstock.
Asset Consistency: Maintained exact proportions and shadow volumes across fast-paced, surreal sequences to prevent visual jitter or loss of artistic intent.

The "Mojo Thunder" video was met with critical acclaim across independent music and animation platforms for its bold, subversive aesthetic. While my role was focused on specific scenes, the collaborative pipeline ensured a seamless final edit where individual hand-drawn contributions blended together into a single cohesive, gripping visual narrative.
